Dua for beginning and ending a session of remembrance

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
(In the name of God the All Compassionate the All Merciful).

Innal hamda lillah nahmaduhu wa nasta'eenuhu wa nastaghfiruhu wa na'oodhu billahi min shuroori anfusinaa wa min sayyi-aati a'maalinaa; man yahdillahu falaa mudilla lah, wa man yudlil falaa haadiya lah; wa ash-hadu allaa ilaaha illa Allahu wahdahu laa shareeka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasooluh.

(Verily all praise is for Allah, we praise Him and seek His aid and ask for His forgiveness and we seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and our evil actions. Whomever Allah guides there is none who can misguide him, and whomever Allah misguides there is none who can guide him, and I bear witness that none has the right to be worshiped except Allah alone, having no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger).

For reference see - Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 1888 (People of Dimad)

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alameen Wassalatu Wassalamu Ala Sayidna Muhammad Wa 'ala Aalihi Wasahbihi wa Anbiya'illahi Ajma'een.
(My thanks and gratitude belong to Allah the Lord of all mankind, I ask Allah to bless and bestow peace on Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the Sahabas and the the messengers, and all who traverse their path).

Rabbi Ishrah Li Sadry, Wayassir Li Amry, Wahlul 'Uqdatan Min Lisany, yafqahu Qawly
[Surah Ta-Ha; 20:25-28]

(Oh Allah, I ask you to expand my breast, make my task easy, undo the knot in my tongue so that my speech will become comprehensible) (Moses prayer).

Inna allaha ya'muru bil`adli wal-ihsani wa ita'i dhi alqurba wa yanha `an alfahsha'i walmunkari walbaghyi
[Surah An-Nahl; 16:90]

Surely, Allah enjoins the doing of justice, the doing of good (to others), and the giving to the kindred; and He forbids indecency, evil, and rebellion.

Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an laa ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaika
Purity belongs to You O Allah (SWT), with Your praises, I bear witness that there is no diety worthy of worship except You. I seek forgiveness from You and I repent to You
